On Friday March 29th, students in Dr. Allison Morehead's class, ARTH 324: French Art and Its Reception, 1855–1912, had a special tour of the current exhibition at the , with Dr. Caroline Shields, curator of . The exhibition, which the class has been learning about all term, offered Queen's students an insider's view not only of the various connections between impressionist painting and industrialization in nineteenth-century Paris, but also of what it takes to put on a major loan exhibition.
