Lawson was also recently awarded the Junior Weilienne Scholar Grant to present her paper 鈥淓mbodying Decreation: Simone Weil's Ethics鈥 at the annual American Weil Society conference "Simone Weil on spirituality, beauty and justice" at Boston College.

Lawson's recent contributions to Weil scholarship come on the heels of her two new publications:
