Inquiry@Queen's (I@Q), a conference aimed at promoting undergraduate research at the university, is marking its 10^th anniversary as it gets underway Thursday, March 10 and Friday, March 11.

All events are open to the Queen’s and Kingston communities as the conference celebrates the research achievements of a new generation of scholars as they present their research through presentations, posters and panel discussions at the Queen’s Learning Commons in Stauffer Library.

The keynote session on Friday from 9-10:30 am, which offers presentations by undergraduate researchers and a Kingston youth group, will be highlighted by an address from Professor Emeritus  Art McDonald, co-winner of the 2015 Nobel Prize in Physics.

“It is integral to the students’ learning that they present and explain their work to a wide and varied audience,” says Jackie Druery, Inquiry@Queen's co-chair and head of Humanities and Social Sciences, Queen’s University Library. “That’s a key part of the discovery process. The conference provides an opportunity to do this in an interdisciplinary environment and to gain academic and professional skills at the same time.”
