Congratulations to Austin Wild whose submission based on a HIST 876 paper 鈥淲arden & Odlum: Positional Vs. Personal Leadership Power in the Officers of the Canadian Expeditionary Force鈥 was chosen for Honourary Mention in the Journal of Military and Strategic Studies鈥 2021 Annual Student Award of Excellence. His manuscript will be published in the next issue of the JMSS. In announcing his award, the editors said: 鈥淭his year, we received more submissions than expected and you should be very proud of your accomplishment.鈥 The JMSS is published by the University of Calgary鈥檚 Centre for Military and Strategic Studies.
